An instrumental member in the development of Snowshoe Biathlon, Pat has a long, impressive history as a mentor and coach in Biathlon in the NWT, including: 8 Arctic Winter Games, more than two dozen Alberta and Canada Cup competitions, 2 Canada Winter Games (1991 and 1995), and 12 National Championships. His dedication to maintaining and developing the Hay River Ski Club as well as to promoting the sport of Biathlon left a lasting legacy in the community, and his memory serves as inspiration for the future.
